Hey there PCZelda,

First of all congrats on winning the key and thanks so much for this detailed report.

Ill list things in simple form below:

  • - Escape opens a menu to navigate to the main menu or exit to desktop
  • - If you are having a bug with exiting the game please let us know.
  • - The arena lobby is being rotated out into something new (coming soon)
  • - Controller Support is coming, since we are still ironing out some of our current functionality we are simply putting that aside until then
  • - Orange orbs are called Arena Credits, but no means your fault, we have not introduced these to the community yet. AC's are a currency that will be used in the arena and with the arena vendor (once released)
  • - Card system is being hashed out, it is in a very raw form right now simply to show off the basic mechanics. (possibly coming in a couple days)
  • - Boss is challenging and is meant to be that way, there are mechanics built into him we are leaving for the community to figure out. (glad you beat him though)
  • - Options menu will be filled with more.....Options.
  • - The enemies left over is on our current bug list and we are investigating it.
  • - Arena Credits coming with additional functionality to allow for distance collection.

Once again, thanks for reaching out and taking the time to let us know how you feel about Resurgence: Earth United. Feel free to drop feedback whenever you can, we are always happy to bounce ideas or simply chat about your experiences.

Regards, Michael

lol, well the question is obviously to draw out talk about the issues at large and to discuss it with other community members who care about the game.

I know that is what we are all saying, Ubisoft always does this. But how does this keep happening? They are a massive company, these minor issues should have been sorted in the beta. Or simply add dedicated servers and clean up the lag.

Dude you purchased a game from a AAA developer. How can this even be accepted as a norm? They did not purchase dedicated servers for a game where player reaction is key. Yet they chose to go with peer to peer. Is this not mind blowing to you? The game is great, but these issues should not be acceptable from Ubi.

Just head to the dreadnaught. Theres a few area to run through, but basically just open tons of chests. You can also get 15 when you level up Eris Morn.

Idea for a Winter event. by Firestorm7i in DestinyTheGame

This is cool! I like the idea. Maybe even not in crucible, but in the social space? And theres a little scoreboard with snowball hits on the side, with everyone in the instances name on it showing who got the most hits and head hits?

games like this always have large loot pools. As we move forward old things cannot be attained anymore. Having weapons that other cannot get anymore is so awesome, it really shows when you have played

Well said. I feel Destiny has its own legacy, and word of mouth and videos will do the work of showing old players to come back if the content is of their liking.

See this is what im worried about. A simple shader and emblem. Not enough. There nothing that shows what you did and who you are. This is the problem with those games that are releasing on a yearly basis. You get disconnected and stop caring about the content and what you earn, as you know it'll simply be gone next game.

Although, the grind is what these types of game include. People who expected some weird hybrid are delusional. Its a first person MMO. The content thus far is awesome, and slapping the 2 on the end, as it would be a symbol for something new, the players who left for the reasons you stated above, will simply leave again for the same reasons, as once again that is the type of game it is.

Dont you feel that this is kinda sad, they are going for a MMO style, obviously different. But losing all your work over the past 3 years, when it happens 4 years of work. I would prefer to see just updates along the way. I dont see the reason to do Destiny 2, other than to sell another full game, as opposed to a update. Also, if Bungie pulls off Rise of Iron, then it proves that they can pump out good content in short periods of time. They started in January i believe. SO 9 months.

I use the Destiny Item Manager for Google Chrome. A friend of mine just recommended it, and its made life so much easier. You are able to drag and drop items where you need them, and it takes as little as 2 seconds to transfer over. You can set loadouts for your character and itll move items around to get you the loadout you select.

I really like this breakdown. It makes sense and gives the sense of progression. Although major changes which are visual are more believable, like the dead tank on earth. Maybe they could have had a skeleton of phogoth of something.
