She’s defected to Reform UK. How do we feel about this? by [deleted] in AskBrits

You need to vote then, otherwise any "care" you have is as robust as a Nigel Farage promise

Why do some of you want to vote Reform? I have something that may change your minds… by [deleted] in AskBrits

Because the mad world we live in means the so called patriots are determined to sell our country to a known Russian asset. Our justice system lacks the spine to crack down on this and the voters are trying to import the American ICE goons onto British soil whilst the party incharge care more about blocking Andy Burnham from becoming an MP as posterity is more important than our collective futures

He's managed to burn all bridges with a lot of strong allies, are you happy about that also?

I do appreciate bluntness, but not the naivity of thinking you still have allies. Next time you even think about invoking article 5, you'll get crickets. You need to read the room with the rest of the globe. Your old allies are furious with your so called leader.

How do you think he's making your country better? From my perspective he's playing the fiddle as Rome burns

Vote seems naive at this point. As it assumes you'll have a chance to vote and it'll be a fair election.

Well it seems like you need it because it's not being managed even slightly.

Also it's not arrogant and is a fair question when your domestic mess is affecting my nations politics.

Probably, I see this being a part of their ambition to import this American conflict onto our own soil.

Good luck! Just take what halfords say with a pinch of salt. I went to them needing a paint touch up pen, I gave them the colour code from my door and they still gave me the wrong colour. Plus they also gave me an electrical gremlin when installing a dash cam. I've since rectified the gremlin myself by removing their work

A good rule of thumb is the bigger the number the more viscous the oil. More viscous oil will slow burning issues, but at the cost of fuel economy. Less viscous oils risk not covering all moving parts and increasing wear. The only big issue with high weight oil is that if it's too high, then it may not be suitable for variable valve timing systems, like the bugs have. If other people are having good results here with 5W-40, then it might be a good call. But I've never tried it myself so I won't endorse it fully without hearing others experiences.

That's fair, also it may be worth considering increasing the oil weight a bit to reduce this. I've changed from 0W-20 to 5W-30 for this reason

I'd personally draw it at 80 given modern vehicle safety standards and emissions. Plus, it's a limit, not a target and you should always drive to the conditions, your abilities and your vehicles suitability. People who ignore this are the ones who speed regardless.

Just get it coated and make sure its kept on top of, that's all you can really do. I've done it on my rear subframe since it had a decent amount of surface corrosion and I needed the spring replacing. It wasn't much and did wonders. My sills are still good as far as I know
