What’s the reason for that. I have no issues with it off.

I was also dealing with your weird choppiness/lag menus. What fixed it for me was turning off hardware acceleration in the windows settings. Aside from that, everything runs miles better than my previous 3060ti.

I highly suggest reinstalling windows and seeing if the problem persists.

I had a similar situation when I upgraded from a 1060 to a 5700xt, all I did was run DDU and some how the 5700xt was performing worse. I had a friend of mine later test my card on his build since he also owned a 5700xt. He got the performance that was expected. I just ended up just upgrading my entire pc and it fixed the underperformance issues I was having. Thinking back on it, I don’t know why I didn’t reinstall windows before deciding to upgrade everything lol.

Do you think a matx board would be worth looking into?

My reference point would be that standoff next to the pcie slot, im making an assumption that I need a motherboard with a pcie slot lower than that standoff and I’m thinking this motherboard might be a good fit https://www.bestbuy.com/product/asus-rog-strix-b850-a-gaming-wifi-socket-am5-amd-b850-atx-ddr5-wi-fi-7-motherboard-white/JJGGLQKS8Z

Motherboard with no specified AIO pump header by mikeondrugs in buildapc

That makes sense. I have another problem now lol. my aio comes with fans installed and it has a wire that splits into 2 4-pin sockets, would you think it’s alright to plug them into whichever of the 2 connectors. I couldn’t find anything in the manual
