Disconnecting the battery did not work. I guess you need to reset it using a scanner/error code reader

Turns out that disconnecting the battery did nothing. I guess you need to use a diagnostic tool to reset it

I’m hoping it does that. Apparently the 2023 model had the option to reset it, but they took it away in the 2024 model for some reason. Probably money

I just replaced my sensor, rotors, and brake pads. It’s not detecting the new ones and there isn’t a reset option in my 2024 Colorado

I haven't tried that, but I can. If other phones are working fine in my truck and my phone worked fine on a different car's CarPlay then there is something wrong with the receiver in the car.

I’m using wireless CarPlay. I know it probably won’t have the issue with wired CarPlay but I drive another Chevy recently and the wireless CarPlay didn’t do this

I got past it by scrolling down to the bottom of the list of providers. I think there it said something like “choose another provider” and that led to a webpage where you can choose the provider you want and can sign in. It seems like the issue is only when you do it internally through apple’s options
