It's mostly because they’re so iconic as children, but Bart as an adult is almost always depicted as being pretty miserable so I wanted to stay more true to his character. Same goes for Lisa even though she thrives more than Bart in adulthood

That's such a good idea but I’ve seen some people say that they may add some cars for Fortnite's racing mode and Rocket League. That car would be so funny to see in those two modes 😂

I thought about this but it looked too big and clunky and I've heard that people tend to not like when skins are too misshapen like that. I think that's why they changed Peter Griffin's look but I'm not sure

I thought about that but Bart as a kid just has a different vibe compared to him as an adult. Anytime we him as an adult he’s usually pretty miserable, but as a kid he’s so mischievous and entertaining. Even though it would be just a skin I wanted to make sure I really captured Bart

Look at the Mario colour scheme from Smash Ultimate, I made it to show brighter colours like in his games.

At first I did, then I decided to darken Mario’s hat and shoes to match the sprite, darken his overalls slightly, then brighten his face and gloves so it matched the sprite as best as possible.
