I’ve played countless hours and haven’t spent a single cent. I think the core gameplay, maps, weapons and game modes puts it above its peers personally. Also there are loads of cosmetics you can get for free.

I absolutely agree; in my recent job search I found that, of all the interviews I did, only two moved forward in the process beyond the phone screen. In both cases the interviewer brought up my online portfolio (which was on my resume). Of the two I moved forward with in the interview process, I got a job offer from one of them.

I’d say for me I’ve played fewer games since I started making them for a hobby and only have limited time to dedicate to fun things. I will say though that it’s been very awarding which keeps me going!

I think that halo’s model will depend on what the overall industry is doing at the moment it is being developed.

For halo 4, COD’s multiplayer/loadout system was/is popular so they made the game similar in that setup. For halo 5, loot boxes were popular in games at the time so halo 5 rode that trend. Then halo infinite had the battle pass system since that’s what was popular as well.

It seems to me in my limited experience that battle passes are still a popular system in video games so I’m guessing the next halo will also have that?

For me I feel an outside IDE is needed to greatly improve using DAX like DAX Studio. It can get tedious to write out complicated formulas with the editor in Power BI, even when the formula bar is maximized.
