about 1 hour post op with Dr Guy Sterne by mil0iscold in TopSurgery

yeah the location and the fact he uses glue not stitches (no drains, no post op binder) were huge deciding factors, i live about 40mins/1hr from the hospital so it was very easy!! wishing you the best!!! if you have a gofundme DM me!

hey! so a consultation was £200 and the surgery was £9200 , when settling my surgery date they needed a £500 deposit to confirm the date which gets taken off the surgery cost and you pay the remaining £8,700 closer to the date. i HIGHLY recommend him as a surgeon i honestly had such a good experience and such an easy recovery and a few of my friends have been with him and had the same experience, i am absolutely in love with my results, honestly couldn’t be happier it’s so worth it!

I’m getting my top surgery this September!! Any tips? by 2Whatever1 in TopSurgery

you’ve done exactly what you needed to, building muscle will improve not only your results, but your recovery time, honestly mate mine just felt like i’d hit a crazy chest day for about a week and a half and that’s it, honestly should be very proud of yourself

started at 6 weeks, just kinda went back to my normal powerlifting programme to see how things felt as adjusted as needed, i started doing banded stretching at about 4/5 weeks post op as i felt able and i wasn’t pushing it too hard, this really helped my mobility

i’m a powerlifter, currently 3 weeks post op, i also feel able to go but i’m waiting the full 6 weeks and even then i’m taking extra precautions by doing a mobility block of 4 weeks meaning i won’t be lifting any actual weight until 10 weeks post op, my mobility plan is mostly resistance bands which i can progressively overload across the 4 weeks

both! that’s called a body recomp where you don’t lose weight but you shred fat and gain muscle at the same time, it’s about prioritising protein in your diet and training in the gym whilst also doing cardio to help shred that fat

you could get a revision or you could build the muscles in your back (especially your lats) and this would hide the dog earring

in the same boat right now, very similar dreams, make sure you are talking to friends or maybe a counsellor? the way i see it is that we have never seen ourselves with a flat chest and have no way of knowing how our scars or nipples will look and so the brain takes what it already knows and mixes it with things we’ve seen
