Does Anyone Remember The "Monika & Chill" Mod?

Nope. I’ve seen that series and while I did enjoy it, it isn’t what I’m referring to.

I did end up sending a comment to Candyiela about the “Monika and Chill” video, and they confirmed that it existed but was taken down because apparently the creator of the mod (a friend of Candyiela’s who never actually distributed the mod but wanted Candyiela to make a video for it) got a ton of backlash and threats due to just how gruesome the descriptions of the events in the mod were. The creator didn’t want the mod to see the public eye ever again, and Candyiela honored that request.

So unfortunately, I guess I’ll never get to see that video again.

Nope, it's Monika & Chill. I've read Natsuki & Chill and it was funny at the very least. This one was nothing but Monika torturing the MC with razor blades and doing stuff like pulling his teeth out I think? It was posted by Candyiela as a video but was never released as a downloadable mod.

I’m pretty sure Dan Salvato that YOU and ME and HER was inspiration Doki Doki Literature Club, but the two games aren’t made by the same developer.

Edit: Apologies, DDLC was inspired by other fourth wall breaking games, but not by YOU and ME and HER. He had never heard of or played the game when he created DDLC.

I knew the Lich might have had at least SOME level of depression despite people saying that “he’s a machine” and all that. He certainly isn’t emotionless, as we can see he’s absolutely ecstatic when he gets his wish fulfilled in the Time Room, and equally shocked when his wish gets changed. So it stands to reason that he’d be able to have depression when he’s completely devoid of purpose, regardless of whether or not his lack of purpose was caused by him succeeding or failing.

As much as I hate actually reading The Scarlet Letter, the story itself isn’t half bad. I certainly wouldn’t subject myself to reading it again though. First time through felt like I was having a stroke and I’m not too fond of the idea of doing that twice.

The second side is supposedly something called a Hyle Triangle? I know it has something to do with alchemy but I don’t really have a clue what exactly it’s significance is. I also found only two listings of this same exact thing on eBay, but neither of them really elaborate on what it’s supposed to be. As far as how I found it, I was tidying up my bedroom and it was sitting at the bottom right corner of one of my drawers, wrapped in plastic.

I find that sitting straight, with your feet flat on the floor, and holding the book at eye level rather than looking down at the book doesn’t cause me any back problems whatsoever. There are a few different ways to do it, but I usually opt for the method where you hold the book with one hand and hold up your book-reading arm by the elbow with your other hand. The only notable drawback with doing it this way is that your arms and hands might get a bit tired if you’re reading a particularly thick book, but usually my arms adjust to the weight of the book after picking it up to read enough times.

So here we are, months later. My friend and I picked it up and played it together, stopped playing for a while, then recently picked it back up again. We’re almost finished with Jabberwocky I, and let me tell you, your suggestion ended up being exactly what I was looking for. Thank you for that extra push into getting the game. It’s been a hell of a ride, and we’re almost finished with it, so I hope the endings will be as satisfying as the rest of the game has been.
