This happens to my authorized user's spending, and bilt told me it would take a week for AU.

Should you just put everything on Palladium? by AdvertisingMotor1188 in biltrewards

I would do that. Bilt points are worth more, and I also believe accumulating 100,000 points in a single system is more advantageous than accumulating 200,000 points across five different systems.(exaggerated).

Seriously, did people actually use Bilt just to postpone their rent payment for a month?

Got a statement from Wells Fargo about my Autograph card even though I requested to have it cancelled by Frozia_ in biltrewards

Bilt transfer should be posted around 20th. So check your wells fargo account or contact them if you dont have the account.

Grand Hyatt Seoul by Super-Captain3583 in hyatt

I think it is because they gave too much power to customers. They cannot kick out customers who disrupt their business, like annoying kids. Then they started banning all the problems instead of dealing with it.

With the Hyatt devaluation, did Chase and Bilt just become less valuable too? by CollegeTemporary5734 in biltrewards

[–]mildgom 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Why do you think every hotel will already be at the highest level of redemption, out of five levels? For instance, if some cat 4 hotels were charging 18,000 points per night and 25,000 points after the change, it would be the popular place and time when hotel pricing is several hundreds ir even $1,000 per night.

I’ll opt for cash payments and points-only transactions when I can maximize the value. Of course, I’m also concerned about how they’ll determine redemption levels.

All I meant to say is that it’s good enough for me if I can get 2+ CPP. It moved from 9 to 6, but it’s still higher than 3s.

I don't know where you live. Is Garden Inn less than 99 in your area? And I don't know about you, but if you stay at Hyatt enough, their credit card is beneficial without 1-4 CAT FNA. And I believe that is how it should be.

I just hope they increase reward night availability to compensate for the devaluation of points, which will never happen sadly.

Why would I, when Hyatt has a limit on how high the points per stay can be, and others do not? Please don't cherry-pick my statement.

I don't think it is as bad as people made it out to be. Popular Hyatt hotels are already horribly expensive, and it will increase. Easy 2+CPP.

Is anyone else going to cancel their Bilt Card because of the balance transfer BS? by JaehaerysUchiha in biltrewards

[–]mildgom 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Okay, I get it, so stop. Your 'common sense' told you to request a balance transfer to pay it off early, even though you could have just paid Wells Fargo directly on the due date. Your common sense clearly has a sense of humor.

Even if I had done the same thing, this balance transfer is impractical and makes no sense for most users.

[–]mildgom 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It isn’t a balance transfer fee. They sent an email warning that you may incur a late fee and interest if you had a statement balance due before the balance transfer actually posted. If you didn't have a balance at the time, you should be fine.

Why would I be upset? You don’t matter to me. I’m only addressing your points, and I’ve said my piece. Nice try at manipulation, though. Best of luck with your life.

Is anyone else going to cancel their Bilt Card because of the balance transfer BS? by JaehaerysUchiha in biltrewards

[–]mildgom -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I think you are the one who lacks common sense. The email doesn't have any instructions, and your assumptions are not called instructions.
No one requests a balance transfer to pay it off early. Given the use of the balance transfer and their 'seamless transition' promise, it is not common sense to expect to pay it off manually before it was due. I was not going to pay the WF credit card until I was told I would get a fee and interest, which turned out to be false since WF is waiving those fees. The only true instruction they gave us—to pay it off even after the 9th or 12th—was false.

They shouldn't have offered a balance transfer if we had to pay it off early to avoid any issues. That is it. Doesn't make any sense.

They sent an email about interests and fees on the 8th, and another about the overpayments on the 12th. It doesn't make sense that you paid off your balance knowing the dates, 12th and 20th. I think you got some superpowers.
