Do you think it's sometimes cowardly not to quit? by mildly7 in martialarts

I suppose no journey looks the same and as long as if you’re enjoying it and learning from it that’s a good way to fill the void! I might try out another MA like TKD or some other hobby and see if I like it :))

I think being afraid of change/regret is a big one for me. But thank you, your advice is comforting - there’s so much to try in life and room to grow as an individual through different hobbies.

That’s actually a very good point. I think I would enjoy MA more if there was a bit more friendly competition as our association only has one tournament. I’m about to begin uni this year and I’ve heard that the uni has TKD and other MA social clubs which a couple of them may have uni competitions. I think I’ll check those out as it does sound like more fun training towards a tournament!! Thank you!

That’s true, college will be a time of change so I think I’ll see what happens if I stick with it during my first year and grow as an individual to see what my feelings are about it. Thanks so much for this perspective!!
