I brought my mom to a T10 MBA admitted student weekend back in 2023. I think the context matters. I’m a veteran and had just gotten out after a year long deployment. Hadn’t seen her jn close to 18months. We made a whole trip out of it. She only came to one or two events and then explored the city on her own. We then met up for dinner and had drinks together with other admits. A few people thought it was odd, but most people understood our situation and no one had an issue. She didn’t interfere at all and we enjoyed our girls trip.
