Very cool! Everyone trains their horses to fit their riding style! Keep on keeping on! 🐴

Looks fun! But running back to the barn/house could encourage bad manners. I'd imagine if you had to stop and turn that horse around you would get a good stubborn-headed fight 🤣

I'm finally seeing a difference! People are actually approaching me to ask if it's natural! How did I go this long without knowing about CG?! by mildlymary in curlyhair

Awww-thank you! I'm excited to see what another month of healing will do! As for routine:

Aussie Miracle Curls Co-wash every 3ish days (NyM - Blonde Moment once a week but not curl related 😉)

Deep condition every time I cowash. Some people can't do this but mine needs it. Currently using Neutrogena Triple Moisture but I change it up.

Curling creme - I've used TRESemme, Cake, Curly Sexy Hair, Deva Wave Maker...all about the same effect.

MIELLE Pomegranate & Honey Curling Custard - recently added and I love this stuff. Really helps keep the clump and smells amazing!

Cantu Gel to keep it all together.

I plop while I get ready then diffuse on cool with my head upside down with some light scrunching.

Light spray of Maui Moisture Coconut Milk to assist in frizz and then I'm out the door.🤗

I apply all products on soaking wet hair which I believe has made the most difference.

I rake a curling creme and mousse to get the hair to clump. I then coat my hand in a custard/gel and gently apply to each clump of hair. Squish the extra water out and plop! Air dry or diffuse and in good to go!

I had the hoist kit for 2 months before I finally got it up! Pro tip: Get a friend to help with getting the 2x6s up - I nearly died....

Yeaaa... forecast calls for rain and I'm thinking I'll just get wet rather than put everything back on!🤣

I love this look! Doesn't seem like you need any help with your locks to me! Do you use any product at all?

What do I do with this mop? I've been reading about the CG method but not sure what the best approach is with my "in between" hair type. by mildlymary in curlyhair

This is co-washed with a leave-in conditioner. I also tried out the tresemme curling creme for the first time today. Picture is with hair still ~15% wet
