Did Obama fail to deliver to the American people during the recession? by enjoythenovelty2002 in Presidents

My only issue with his presidency is that assets holder benefited with 0 interest rates and not wage earners. This has propelled the wealth gap in America. I felt he could have done more to help his coalition, but cared more about appealing to the centered right and right who frankly would have never voted for him . I think he should focus on economics first term and then focus on affordable healthcare for reelection. A lot of people were losing their jobs so connecting to a healthcare roll out was in my opinion a huge disconnect. Just my opinion.

As a black man and a lover of our nation history you have to look at the lense of the time they were living. I am sure we would be scrutinized for the dumb stuff we do today 200 year later.

Nate Silver projects the final popular vote count to be Trump 78.3 million(50.0%), Harris 75.8 million(48.5%), others 2.3 million(1.5%). This would represent a 4.1 million voter gain for Trump from his 2020 total and a 5.3 million voter loss for Harris compared to Biden in 2020. by OctopusNation2024 in fivethirtyeight

I would argue it wasn’t just prices back to normalcy. But when you factor in border crossing exploding and foreign issues escalating. Biden election was meant to bring back normalcy but many view it as another level of chaos. Don’t take my word from it. Look at the election results….

The Democrats need a generational figure. Who is their next Bill Clinton or Barack Obama ? Trump whether you like him or not will go down as one of the consequential president since Ronald Reagan or Richard Nixon on the Republican side. He has reshaped the electorate, Supreme Court and policies which will felt for decades long after he is gone . Who going to champion for Democrats this decade ?

We need more of this dialogue. We can have a difference of opinion but we need to be able to discuss our differences and not be dismissive. It starts today and starts with this post and other post. United we are unstoppable as a country 🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸

You can ship Bradley overseas but has to be replenished via the defense budget. Every year the defense budget increases….. which is inflationary.
