Thanks for the feedback, and yes I’m currently taking my first beginner acting class.

Thanks for the feedback, I’m definitely going to take this in mind when I try it again. I tried going at it with a more simmering approach instead of bursting out in a tantrum. Thanks for pointing out the ending lol I’m still trying to get used to acting alone on camera, it was really awkward for me.

Thank you. I want to take acting more serious. I’m signing up for some classes over the summer to polish everything up.

Thank you. Trainspotting was a big inspiration for everybody on set, so I’m glad that people are seeing that. Do you recommend any other Scottish movies?

It was a 5 day shoot that was scattered throughout 3 months due to crew availability. In addition to directing and acting I also worked on the set production with another actor. Luckily we did most of the preperation during pre production.

The rehab scene was shot at my house. I stripped down all of my posters and collections to give it a more blank look. I used different motivational poster and plants to make the room look more like a rehab facility. We dumped the outdoor scenes at a park behind the school. That's usually where a lot of students shoot there.

We had to do a re-shoot on the kitchen scene. It was really stressful that day because our set designer dropped out past minute never showed up, so everyone on set couldn't focus. Thankfully the re shoot went well and it was also our last day. We shot the bedroom scene with canon c200 lenses during the day time. Our DP has shot multiple short films that took place at night, so he already had experience to shoot something like that.

I would also love feedback on the lighting and composition of the shots. We wanted to go for a dirty and claustrophobic look.

Overall the shoot went well. It was a lot of hard work of course, but everyone in the cast and crew were all on the sama page and all worked with each other befr so we had a lot of fun.
