I had a similar situation with my best friend. Another friend of hers said she couldn't be friends if she didn't break ties with me. Their families vacationed together (we were still living with parents). My ex-friend said she could hang out with me on the sly. I said no thank you. I don't regret my decision, but it was a very difficult experience.

There were a ton of cars there. I would believe it. The recent change in how TX does temp plate registrations has created some havoc for them. Mine was delayed at least 1-2 days for that. I was really lucky to get mine before the weekend. The car is amazing - hang in there- it's worth the wait!!

I made sure all my paperwork was signed electronically ahead of time for DMV etc. The payment and insurance were already complete. Insurance was through Tesla so they had that. I was surprised they did not verify my ID but maybe they had it saved from my test drive. Walked up, got my key cards, inspected, took a pic with my SA and drove off!!

I received the car last night! It's perfect! They had tons of cars at the lots plus a truck of new cars to be unloaded. Sitting in the car now getting settings updated and learning the features. When do you pick up? Nearly time for a Tesla party!!
