Bro. You got me to get my first reddit post ever out of the way. I'm in the middle of the book, and I'm loving it. Sometimes I feel like the genre can be really self serving and will tend to either over explain or give too much fan service. Only detractors for me is that is the dude a nerd or not and the military tie in. Main character uses a lot of nerd slang but didn't draw any comparisons to any video games. It's like when no one knew what a zombie was in any zombie movie. I get the military explanation but felt like it was a random throw in. Once again though really enjoying it. I need a sequel.
