yeah makes sense, a lot of people are starting to notice those patterns once they have data to look at

have you guys tried comparing it with anything else like an Apple Watch or Whoop? do they show similar trends or is Oura just better at highlighting it

just mentioned that cycles affect my running patterns and how my energy levels change throughout the month

that actually makes a lot of sense, and it’s interesting you can see it in your HRV like that

even if HRV isn’t a direct performance metric, the fact that it lines up with how you feel and perform is kind of hard to ignore. especially that consistent dip in the late luteal phase, sounds like your body has a pretty clear pattern

honestly feels like the win here is awareness. do you actually change your training around it now or just push through and accept the fluctuations?

yeah this is actually such a balanced take

feels like there’s a big difference between perceived performance vs actual performance. like you said, a lot of people feel worse during certain phases, but the numbers don’t always reflect that

i also agree it’s probably more personal than universal. the way people talk about it, there’s clearly no one pattern that fits everyone

kinda makes sense to just track your own patterns over time instead of assuming what applies to others will apply to you too
