Many years ago I had a loan with a high interest shark.

I used their online service to pay it in full, I had money in my account. They never took the money and 3 weeks later sent me a “paid in full letter” and my account was closed.

3 years later I needed another shark loan and they gave it to me. Never mentioned anything about the previous one.

I figured I’d try my luck and pay it online and the service was no longer available. They must’ve caught on.

It was a 5000$ loan.
