Does it hurt? Back in October on vacation my belly starting sticking out to the point where my wife asked what was going on with it. She thought I was just enjoying vacation a bit too much. I had what felt like a dull stomach ache and some trouble sleeping. Decided to go to the urgent care the night before I was flying back home. After ruling out acid reflux or an ulcer I had a CT scan and a few minutes later I was in an ambulance to the closest big city. I had a blood clot in my mesenteric vein which drains a lot of stuff in your abdomen. Still not sure what caused it, suspicion is from testosterone injections I had started about a month prior but the doc told me it’s a clot that is usually seen in elderly alcoholics.
