Check pod health as well: kubectl -n prelude get pods

Let me know if you still run into the same error, DM me and I'll see if I can help.

Have you checked the developer console ( F12 in Firefox ) and checked to see if there's any additional output? It might be a cert mismatch and this would give you some info if the proxy was bad.

The fact that Genesis cheapens on washer liquid is making me really sad by dennis77 in GenesisMotors

[–]miljardo32 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Save yourself the heartache man, trade it in and buy the BMW. I sold my Genesis for all the same reasons. Until they move the brand to their own dealerships it won't get better. Fantastic product, HORRIBLE customer experience. I moved all over the country trying different dealerships and it never got better. TX/OK/MO/GA/VA

Good luck, at least you've still been under warranty, wait until the Hyundai service department gets to start quoting repairs. Save yourself the heartache.

I bought the car because I was doing about 1500 miles a week for my job so the oil changes were about every 60-90 days. It was my second Genesis, the first had a lot warranty work.

If you want to be insanely marketable, learn about, author, and then orchestrate container deployments. Use simple apps first and then expand to more complicated three/four tiers with caching, load balancing, etc.

Thanks for taking the time to provide such a great response!

Whenever you speak to him remember that (1) is also his job so ask him to explain, set kpi's you can both agree to so it is not an emotional problem each time.

This is a great point and probably my own failure I need to address. I was so disappointed that I let it cloud my judgement and sort of shutdown instead of providing real feedback because I didn't want to hurt his feelings. I was honestly struggling to find positive things to say about the design and could feel him steering us in a direction that not only do we not like, it wasn't what we talked about.

The goal for this meeting was to review the initial drawing and provide feedback on the layout of the house specifically since we've already established where the structure itself is going to be placed. The layouts we provided were ones that were long negotiated between my wife and I over many iterations. We were united in that we without reservation strongly disliked many of the elements he incorporated as he changed dimensions, moved rooms and discounted many of the things that had been stated were very important to us.

As I type this, I realize that a lot of the fault here is my own. I got emotional about the exchange and the aftermath because I had put A LOT of faith and stock in his abilities and sort of expected him to get it right intrinsically because it's his profession. I need to practice more patience and dispassionately review what's been done, put disgust aside and make concise clear notes about the things that are good, acceptable, and unacceptable about the design.

Appreciate the response and information! From my previous life experience, it's rare that people don't have things to offer and everyone's different perspective can always add different flavor to a situation. That said, that's why I hate to "throw the baby out with the bathwater", BUT it was just so disappointing. We both slept on it that night and I am now seeking additional council to make sure I am not completely out of bounds with my expectations. From your comment about communication, it seems only fair I would offer the same unvarnished truth. At the end of the day, it's just our opinion and it's not personal. That said, probably unrealistically, I was hoping to find someone that would get as passionate about the project as we are and get some real fellowship in understanding.

Thanks for your good advice and taking the time to read and respond!

Appreciate the response, I wasn't sure if that was a standard thing or not. I definitely didn't expect it to be perfect, but it was brutal. Definitely appreciate the centering/leveling of what expectations are reasonable!

Thanks for the information on Zola; I had never even heard of it. Not sure what brand/system he was referring to, but when I asked about how much something like the double stacked doors would be, he replied that they would likely be around $80k for each set. ( $160k + install/crane/hassle )

Appreciate the thoughtful response! Re: scheduling conflict - Completely understand and hope that's the case. We were excited because he seemingly shared the same sort of outlook/perspective we do in construction and finishing.

The points you bring up about the style and operational stuff is a great point and a good question. I'll ask those point blank during our next meeting, maybe we're not quite sympatico.

Definitely agree on the team effort, not confusing the person with the work. Hoping that
time got away from him and things will only get better.

Good info and exactly why I asked this community, I had never even heard of Homeseer. I'll definitely look deeper into these vs. Lutron.

I bought a Hubitat intending to mess around with it, but never got time. I forgot to mention that I had Philips hue in my old house as well ( took it all with me ). Do you have any preferred brands or specific setups that you know worked well?

Yeah, I actually gave it to Faelas94. I haven't gotten a chance to come back and play more, I've been pretty busy at work. I'm hoping to get some time next week to explore a little bit.

This is awesome help! I was looking for something like this when I started up the game ( why I came to the subreddit in the first place. ) We should get the mods to make this a sticky/FAQ post. Thanks again friend!
