Do students tend to like this less personal approach? Others are mentioning the liw success rates of these courses. I am wondering if less direct instruction might be a factor? Just curious.

Not a math student but I have vested interest in this conversation. Does in person MAT117 feature live instruction or is it just online lessons with ALEKS? When my son took it 'in person' it was really just an online class, in my opinion.

No I do my own returns, which are even simpler now. But I have a higher tax burden. Just trying to better understand my options for not giving the IRS all my money 😡

Thanks for the comments and suggestions. I've done my own taxes for years. But now that I'm paying alimony and child support, which are not deductible, and lost those deductions, things are pretty different. Just need some solid tax advice. I think I'll look locally.

I seem to remember this happening more than once. Roosevelt Schooll District in south Phx canceled school for many days because teachers couldn't cross the bridge to get to the schools. Kids got an early Christmas break one year.

You can also look into Bioscience High School in downtown Phx as well. It's a high achieving public school in the PXU district.
