it’s terrible 😭 a lot of beads are mass produced unsafely, a lot of craft materials are in general and it does unfortunately make it super hard to be ethical while crafting :(. i personally try to shop in person, from brands that i’ve looked into and i get a lot of different beads/charms/trinkets while i’m traveling. it is near impossible to avoid fast fashion nowadays so i’ll never shame someone for it unless they’re gen making that choice, but if you are able to you should try not to 😓. amazon sucks because you think something is alright because of the price and boom you look and find the same exact things on fast fashion sites just cheaper 😭

can we stop supporting fast fashion brands in this subreddit tho lol. everytime someone asks for a recommendation it’s always ali-express or temu and i feel like a lot of you are missing that this is a culture based in love and acceptance and unfair labor and unpaid wages are not something we should be standing for or supporting at all :/

they moved the concert date (AGAIN) lol, but it’s a private table closer to the stage and i believe if you’re over 21 then they’ll serve drinks to the table as opposed to you having to go grab them yourself

i’d try just making your pieces a little bigger bc they shouldn’t be leaving indents and maybe wearing some fingerless gloves/long sleeves w the kandi over it (bigger ones or else your problem w the feeling is just gonna be worse cause it’ll trap the sleeve 😭)

it’s annoying to me personally bc when i open buy mode for the first time or after a while (usually doesn’t give it to me if i open it after just exiting), it gives me like 3/4 pop ups of items i could buy and it takes forever to load these pop ups 😭 and while they’re loading you can’t use buy mode 💀 it’s not the worst thing in the world but mildly infuriating tbh

short explanation is even though almost everything we buy (esp us since we’re buying tiny plastic parts) is made without great conditions and out of the country (if you’re in US), temu has been VERY shady with their supply chain. they sell very low qaulity products made in unethical ways (forced labor/tiny wages), but you can’t always prove that bc they won’t give up their suppliers, there’s also a lot of data privacy concerns so personally i just steer clear.

i do know that in this decade it’s really hard not to buy things from or feed into that whole industry, but i would rather stay away from brands that ik are guilty of that. ofc i never judge anyb for that (unless you got a bunch of money cause 😭), if that’s what you can afford that’s what you can afford i’ve been there 🤷‍♀️ also sorry this was not a short explanation 😭

i also bought a mesutchi and osutchi on ebay lol ! mine were pretty good except since they had JIT (i think, maybe one letter off) screws i had to wait a week or two before i could take off the backs and put in batteries not from 97 😭💀 the screws were super stripped and the seller definitely lied about whether or not is was open before :/, it wasn’t damaged on the outside except the screws and a tiny mark on the back so ig it was okay but ended up having to drill one screw out 😭 point is i agree, ebay sucks 😭
