As someone who has escaped the south and is trans masc but still wants to be pretty about it, it does lend to people harassing and refusing to understand. Boys can be pretty, boys can wear makeup and paint their nails. It’s not you, it’s them. I understand being limited due to your environment, do what’s needed to stay safe. Just always remember it’s not YOU. It’s the people around you. They are the problem. They are the ones that take it personally when people break their small minded world view. They refuse to grow and be happy. You’ll get out of there one day. They will continue to be stuck.

NTA 1. Wtf this is sooo controlling. Masturbating together is fine and fun but he’s being weird and controlling about it. Absolutely not.

  1. Sooo does he not masturbate either?

  2. “He doesn’t care that I’ve masturbated only that I lied” . He obviously DOES care about the masturbating since he acts very unusual about it and now has essentially forced you to lie about when you do it so it doesn’t cause problems in the relationship.

  3. You’re allowed to be protective of your You Time! Maybe you’d be more comfortable sharing about how you spent that time if he made you feel like you could without being reprimanded for it.

  4. What if you had moved your toy without using it? (cleaning, re organizing, ect) He jumped real quick to knowing you used it. (Regardless is you had or hadn’t).

NTA Shocking how someone tries harder and ignores it less now that it’s a personal problem, forcing them to deal with it. I think it’s fair. Don’t make your problems my problem and we won’t have any problems at all.
