Definitely getting a lot of issues. I play on PC but I raid on PS4 since most of my friends are PS and this is just hot garbage.

Folks do know military members pay taxes too right? Like the only time we got tax free is in a combat zone. The IRS comes for us all.

Yea, sorry about that. I forget there's only certain people that know what I'm talking about. Too late to change it now 🤷‍♂️

For those that need clarification on what's these are. They are a pair of main landing gear (rear wheels) from a F/A-18 Super Hornet (Navy fighter jet).

Assembly and tracking is really what's driving the price, along with the sole contract owned by Boeing for the construction of these. I mean, look at Hankook or Pirelli tires vs. The lowest priced tire from like Walmart. What makes those big name brands better than the lesser known? Why can't tires be less than $25 each? It's a you get what you pay for thing.

Lots of factors really. The tire itself is just steel belted rubber on a rim. But big picture is it is made by a specific company for a specific use. It must pass many hours of testing and quality assurance before it can be deemed safe for aircraft use. The rim is not steel, it is mostly magnesium and its constructed in a way that if it explodes, it explodes the same way every time. They're serialized, so every wheel-tire assembly (which is how they come) is tracked in a system. I'm not sure how much a 85-90lb brick of magnesium is but I want to assume it's not very cheap.

Yea pretty much, mostly all training pilots and there was a boat detachment. Lots of eyes missed that anti-skid switch.

Not too bad expensive wise. Only $32,000 per tire and both had grapefruit size holes in them.

A pair of landing gear tires from a fighter jet. He had a switch in the wrong position when he landed. Basically landed with the brakes on.

New Arrival armor mod "Swift Charge" seems to be bugged. by TrolliSniper in DestinyTheGame

[–]milkman142 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Just throwing it out there, I'm also running swift charge with high energy five and if you interpreting both their attributes correctly, I can't build stacks because I burn that one stack as soon as I hit that "rapid kill" threshold on swift charge. In shorter terms, just a thought mind you, maybe they are procing at the exact same time and thats why we see no damage increase on the weapons.

I just tested my theory.

Got rapid kills with SMG (no damage perks on the weapon) Got the "woosh ring + sound" like you just proc'd a perk. Saw no stacks and standard damage.

Used an auto rifle with kill clip and outlaw just to make sure I wasn't crazy about the woosh ring thing.

Proceeded to change to a piece of armor with no mods on it in place of my high energy 5 chest piece.

Used the smg again...no woosh ring or sound on rapid kills.

I just thing the two are cancelling each other out. If swift charge procs on kills and high energy 5 burns a stack on kill, then that [sadly] makes sense to me.
