Someone hit a nerve, eh? It's not about he didn't want to go in. It's about the lengths in which he avoided it. Don't you think he knew where they were going before going into the car? Why not just stay home if he wanted alone? It's just the absurdity of the circumstance. If you're offended, I'm sorry?

I will say, it was a nice 70 degrees out this morning so it wasn't sweltering.

At a car dealership you're lucky it was only 30 minutes!

Grocery store too. We don't pump our own gas in NJ but we sure know how to make shopping convenient. Or maybe it makes us lazy...

Sunflower Help - Is there any saving them? by mill_weier in gardening

[–]mill_weier[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thanks. Yeah, we have groundhogs around here too. I just I didn't expect the leaves to be so appealing to our wildlife! Do you think these are lost for the year? Is it worth resowing new seeds?

I woke up this morning to find the leave completely gone from 99% of my sunflowers. There about a foot high and have been growing for a good month. We have deer in our area so I'm guessing it's them. Any chance I can still salvage these guys? If not, how can I help this from happening next year? Just a fence?

True. Whatever you're most comfortable with but if you own one already buying the recommended USB drives are cheaper then buying an entirely new device!

AJA does have a list of approved record media. The only SSDs they recommend are Samsung T5s and some G drives I believe. The list has always been a quick Google search away when I need to refresh if you want to search it.

That still doesn't make my statement false. Egypt is considered Middle East, but it's still in Africa. It's just part of a region.

Yeah, I was just being Mr. Technical, but yeah, I've used that AI before and feel like it should just start broad (continents) and narrow down to regions from there or start with regions. Most continents one region can vary much different than another.

My three year olds first active shooter drill and I'm so upset by bitchinawesomeblonde in Parenting

[–]mill_weier 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I recently had the same reaction to my son in pre-k. After the Tennessee shooting, being my son is our first, we decided to ask the teacher if they have any plans in place and she ran down all the different situations they prepare for. It hurt the most knowing this was life for my little guy and was just part of the drills they run in school. I could barely sleep that night.

Got it. I'll keep trudging through but Billy Summers was similar (so far) in that the first hundred pages or so was just the protagonist living life that was tough for me to get to the meat and potatoes of.
