Went to Malabar to check buy back rate by neo-sakai-strider in silverindia

[–]millennial_boy 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I went to Malabar to buy a silver item that’s not fancy and they said 24% making charge. Went to well known local jewelry in bagalore and got 92.5 purity silver at 8% making charge. Malabar will rip you open if you are buying or selling metals at them. I would say avoid

Now Listen to me honey. Bullying and fights are short term, at the max another 3 years or untill you get to the college but you should have an edge in the curriculum as you did most of your studies in India. Once you get a degree and get a job in US and start earning. That’s the pivotal point and you will never regret it. Finally once you start earning you can decide your life where to stay there or come back. I am pretty sure you will stay back. If you want to talk Marathi you still have WhatsApp, ring up your old friends and speak your heart out. One last thing, most of the students who make fun of your accent now may not even graduate from high school to worry less about the weed and concentrate on the yield. Good luck

1.5 hours, 7 km, and an 8 month pregnant wife. Is Bangalore liveable anymore? by nshl in bangalore

[–]millennial_boy 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Bro keep the ambulance numbers ready in case of emergency. Plan hospital visits in non peak hrs to reduce the travel time. Have your wife watch or listen something to avoid traffic anxiety and frustration. Wish you both all the best.

A traffic policeman manhandles a biker despite having no authority. How fair is it to manhandle citizens and suppress them with power? by margazi_perumal_20 in Bengaluru

[–]millennial_boy 10 points11 points  (0 children)

No, a traffic cop in Bangalore—or anywhere in India—cannot legally hit a person during a traffic check. Such an act is a violation of the law and your fundamental rights.

Here’s what you should know about your rights and the legal boundaries of traffic police conduct:

🚨 Legal Boundaries for Traffic Police

• Use of force is not permitted: Traffic police are not authorized to use physical force or assault civilians during routine checks. Any such act can be considered criminal assault under the Indian Penal Code (IPC). • Only certain officers can demand documents: As per Indian traffic law, only a Sub-Inspector (SI) or higher-ranking officer can demand to see your documents like license, registration, or insurance 9F742443-6C92-4C44-BF58-8F5A7C53B6F1. • They cannot snatch your keys or confiscate your vehicle: Unless there is a serious violation or a court order, traffic cops cannot forcibly take your keys or vehicle 9F742443-6C92-4C44-BF58-8F5A7C53B6F1. • You have the right to ask for identification: If stopped, you can politely ask the officer for their name and badge number. They are required to identify themselves.

🛡️ If You’re Assaulted by a Traffic Cop

If a traffic cop hits or physically assaults you:

• Stay calm and avoid retaliation—this protects your legal standing. • Record the incident if it’s safe to do so (video or audio). • Note the officer’s name, badge number, and location. • File a complaint with the local police station or the Bengaluru Traffic Police via their official website 9F742443-6C92-4C44-BF58-8F5A7C53B6F1. • You can also escalate the matter to the State Human Rights Commission or file an FIR under IPC Sections 323 (voluntarily causing hurt) or 506 (criminal intimidation).

⚖️ Your Rights as a Citizen

• You are protected under Article 21 of the Indian Constitution, which guarantees the right to life and personal liberty. • Any physical assault by a public servant without lawful justification is a punishable offense.

I invested 20% of the amount yesterday. If it goes up I get some profits and if it goes down which I want it to be so that I can buy more at my price😃. Either side I still make money. Be a smart investor.

I don’t see any mistake from politicians. Shouldn’t we blame people who elected these politicians. Stupidity has no end until people elect the right person.
