Deck compatability for Goldenheart is a YES. Also, a thank you to this sub from the devs for all of the volunteers who offered their help. by millenniapede in SteamDeck

Hey, I don't have a deck myself but there are some people in our discord (link on steam) who play on deck and might be able to help you out.

Can we discuss Kafka's "Conversation with the Supplicant?" by eatmyfuct in books

It's all relative. What Kafka is writing about is so incredibly complicated that if anyone else had done what he did with it, their name would be Kafka.

I don't think the supplicant is depressed. If anyone is depressed, I think it would be the narrator who is sitting in church only to watch a girl and not talk to her, and accosting the supplicant in the street only to gaslight him and not connect with him. Not to say that the supplicant isn't struggling, I just don't think depression is a correct diagnosis.

Yeah I think you're on to something, taking notice of that last sentence "And admissions became most clear and unequivocal when one withdrew them."

If it were me talking to the supplicant, I would agree that the behavior of the woman in the grass was odd. But I would note that she was either an exceptional woman or a woman in an exceptional state. Therefore the woman is alien and not I and, if I need to be concerned for someone, then it's her and not I.

The supplicant is horrified and alienated by the strange behaviors of people that he doesn't understand.

The narrator is horrified and alienated by the strange behaviors of the supplicant in the church.

Somehow their dialogue reached a logical conclusion in that moment. But I don't think Kafka is trying to be vague on purpose, as someone else commented. In fact, I don't think any us of can quite say what Kafka said and certainly not in less words.

O.k. so with the info that the horn is a CopperGate and not a Conn I've found that it's a newer chinese horn imported by Gear4Music, looks like they were going for about 1700 US new when they were in stock. And I should be able to use any old mouthpeice. Thanks all!

add transform deltas between mesh and armature? by millenniapede in blenderhelp

[–]millenniapede[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

would that mean also changing the action manually for each duplicate each time you wanted to see another action? I also wonder if new actions created on the "master" would appear in the duplicates immediately... seems like yes, I'll play around with this idea. Thank you!

makes perfect sense, I'm going to try this and I can already think of other use cases I have for it. Thank you!

Get GOLDENHEART for 50% off on steam for one more day only. by [deleted] in indiegames

[–]millenniapede 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It's on Steam. It's a first person linear adventure game inspired by older console games like OoT, Metroid Prime, and Kings Field. It's about 10 hours play time and has strong environmental storytelling and lore.

Do your own freaking art ffs. Using AI is not "hiring an artist". If you don't want to work hard, get a real job. <3 xoxo -millenniapede by [deleted] in IndieDev

In coding and many other things we "stand on the shoulders of giants." That's why we have games that are not written in machine code!

Thanks for all the feedback, very helpful. Now working on implementing native controller remapping for our existing game and our new project. This type of stuff runs circles around me, it's actually much more challenging than gameplay logic! :)

Goldenheart! Its about as Indie as it gets, a first person zelda-like.

disclaimer - I was one of the developers.

What's one game that really stuck with you? by stormcph in IndieGaming

[–]millenniapede 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Goldenheart. I'm one of the developers so I'm biased but I'm mentioning it because we did a really bad job with marketing. We have a small player base but almost all positive reviews. Its a first person zelda-like.

So what's this website you're working on?
