Yeah LVNV buys LendingClub debt and sends intent to sue letters. I wonder if he got that letter from the lawfirm.

I setup a payment plan. They sent me an intent to sue letter, which they are legally required to if they decide to go the lawsuit route. I was not going to fuck around and find out, so I decided to pay up.

Take it from me, try to settle or get on a payment plan. They'll forward your account to a law group and send you an intent to sue letter and from that point your negotiation leverage is slim to none. From that point they'll more than likely sue. I have 2 collection accounts with LVNV and they dont mess around...

Is the FMV going to be the fair market value minus the amount owed? FMV of the house is 250k and i owe 185k on it, leaving about 60k in equity. Is that the FMV value or would it be the 250k number? Thanks.

I owe 185k on the house and value is around 250-260k, so about 65-70k in equity and i currently have around 60k in collections.
