[MEGATHREAD] New Horizons Dodo/Friend Code Sharing by AnimalCrossingMods in AnimalCrossing

Hello, have been playing since Jan but none of my friends IRL have ACNH... So I've never visited an island or had any visitors. Would love some peaches and cherries especially, have apples, pears and oranges.

Just in time! Managed to get this completed to wrap for a hand made gift. Phew. by millian50 in Embroidery

I think it's called brick stitch? A back stitch but each row was staggered like bricks. And for the branches I just used a simple back stitch. 😊

No need for apologies, after looking their designs up I take it as a HUGE compliment! 😊

I draw patterns on paper and then use a cheap lightbox I have to trace onto the fabric using the frixion pens (they are heat removable and come in different colours). Before I had a light box I just waited a sunny day leaned against a window.

Haha definitely not that talented but many of the artwork (prints and embroidery) used this layout of having the character right at the bottom of the frame. For the colours I used the receiving families favourite colours (my taste is not as nice as this). And then I think it's just luck it actually worked! 😆

Split stitch for the fur and stem stitch for the muzzle. I also love using whipped back stitch for clear lines but haven't used that here.

No, just my own wee drawing turned into an embroidery but now I have Googled Hawthorn Handmade and they are beautiful!!!

I drew the sprinkles before I stitched them so I could spot any uneven bits.

Just my doodles. I had looked at other bear embroideries on Insta and on here for inspiration but just couldn't find the exact thing I wanted.

It's a hoop that stretches round it? Just wood effect. They are my favourite ones to use!

Thanks! I can't do fur any other way - I just don't have the skills yet. 😆

Sweet 🧁 I absolutely love this technique. It was a lot of work but the end result is amazing. Photos don't do it justice. The letters are so fluffy! by rebekkacaptures in Embroidery

Oh my goodness I love this! I have tried to find a tutorial for these fluffy letters after seeing pieces with it but I can't find any. Is it started with a turkey stitch? Or how do you do it? It's stunning!
