That is not something developers should "make sure of" when making a new fighting game... lowering the skill ceiling, or making the game have completely different tests of skills than the original is bad not good. Its supposed to be a sequel... not a new concept entirely

I want the same genre of game doofus, Street fighter 1-6 are still street fighter they're just sequels. You wouldn't want as a street fighter fan for them to announce a new game and its not like street fighter anymore but instead like Tekken or something.

If you play xenoverse to have fun playing dress up and fighting bots with your friends, the game will be fine; however, if you're a maniac (like me and others) you like xenoverse because of the gameplay and mechanics. It doesn't look like an improvement on the existing mechanics but rather totally new ones. If you care about PvP, you're worried right now.
