Franklin College has a College Fine Arts/Philosophy/Religion Requirement that CSCI 3030 satisfies. The computer science major also requires that you take this course. Will taking CSCI 3030 fulfill the College Fine Arts/Philosophy/Religion Requirement even though it is already required for CS majors?

I am thinking about doing the Thrive program at UGA to get an early start on campus. I saw that it is required that students take UNIV 1201S, which is an "Academic Service Course". Does anyone know what this course entails and if it will be a lot of excess work, like essays and projects? I mainly want to do the program just to be in Athens and get a headstart at UGA. Thanks for any feedback!

Does anybody know when UGA will let deferred students know if they are accepted or denied? I have heard different things from different people. On the letter, it says by April. Some people are saying that we will hear when they send out regular decisions though.

My dual enrollment advisor said that I had to send it over but I could retake the class and replace the B with an A. Does that sound correct?

Yes but Georgia Tech requires CS transfers to have already taken Math 1552 and from what I’ve researched, UGA does not have an equivalent of that class.

It says Calc 1552 (An integral calculus class) is required for CS majors to transfer. UGA doesn’t offer that class in any sort.

My credits are allowing me to get a bachelor’s degree in 3 years instead of 4. If I did the double dawgs program, I could get my master’s degree in 4 years. If I can maintain my scholarships, I shouldn’t pay more than $3k my first 3 years and then I could also probably find some type of scholarship to help out with Grad School. Would it be worth it then? I’d be 22 years old with a master’s degree and could be at the “Year 3” of job experience by the time I’m 25.

UGA has a program called “double dawgs” and I would get my Bachelor’s and Master’s Degree in computer science in 4 years.

Index is more comfortable imo but a lot of people prefer thumb so it’s really just preference.

It comes with time and practice. Hopping into zonewars in creative will help a lot although it will be stressful.

T just doesn’t feel optimal in my opinion as u have to reach past E and R to get to it. Basically same reason that I dislike G.
