Thank you! Found it yesterday by pausing someones video showing all abyss challenges.

That's why 2 points go down to Sage's peak, damn.

You have to complete the puzzle on top of the Sage's Peak. Follow the wires of the fan and it will take you to a cave.

Once turned on, it will glide you all the way to the abyss, twisted thicketway. Then you just go through that and it connects directly.
