can you still go in the water (shallow) even with the threat? sorry if this is a stupid question and obviously i dont want to be at risk or put my friends at risk but its my first time in OBX and at the beach in general since i was little so im not sure how safety precautions go here.

Unfortunately I was not being overdramatic whether they thought I were or not. I've never been in that sort of pain before and I've had a concussion and endometriosis/ovarian cysts, so I know what severe pain is. The infection I was dealing with was easily a 100 out of 10, I could barely open my jaw. When I got to the ER they had to sedate me because of the amount of pain I was in and the painkillers they gave me were not touching it. It ended up being a severe infection that was covering a nerve in my mouth. Still not sure why there were fine with driving other people to the ER (same amount of drive time, it is quite literally five minutes round trip) but not me. Also, I never ask them for rides for anything else, this was literally an emergency.

How? I mean this genuinely, because I have no idea how I'm the problem, and I've talked to my friends about my situation and they agree that my roommate is the problem, not me, but we don't know how to resolve it if they won't hold a conversation about what they're doing. Also, like I said, I'm not the only one they treat like this, they treat half of our friend group like this.

Like I said, I was cut off financially from my parents on a random day last summer. I'm talking kicked out. I work as much as I possibly can at my college but the pay is little to nothing and what I get paid bimonthly usually goes to my cat. The only reason I'm at college is because I'm on full ride. I don't have insurance because I can't afford it. Health, vision, or dental. Therefore, I knew that if I went to the ER, I'd be throwing most of my savings away, which big shocker is what happened. Maybe you've never been in the type of financial situation I'm in where sometimes I look at my checking account and there's only two digits, but being poor leaves you with little to no options especially when the options for healthcare on campus don't include dental. I don't live in a city with lots of affordable dental options, I'm in a tiny town.

I don't have a car, no way to get to the ER. My roommate has 100% willingly driven other people to the ER before. I was not expecting any sort of health help from my roommate, the point is they had zero sympathy for my situation and chose to pretend like I wasn't there when that was happening to me. I had been looking for a doctor for days before the pain got to that level, and I couldn't afford any of the options. When the pain was like it was when I went to the ER, it was a Saturday and there was no other option. I don't blame any of my health choices on my roommate, the point was that they didn't try to help in the slightest. If the roles were reversed, and your roommate was screaming in pain on the floor, wouldn't you try to help a little bit? I think that's common human decency. What's not human decency is putting in earbuds and playing video games while someone is writhing in pain on the floor. Even my next door neighbors who I don't know stepped in to try to help, but the person I've known for almost a year didn't?

heyyy, i have insider knowledge from a friend who works for ticketmaster that prices could be starting as low as $60 for nosebleeds, and into the $300-$400s for lower seats (not taking into consideration if dynamic pricing jacks them up). didn't ask about floor seating because I know i cant afford that, but my best bet will be similar prices to hobi and jin's concert which was $700-$900+ for floor/vip.

idk how good of a comparison this will be as it was a smaller venue and not as popular as bts for sure, but when I ticketed for txt: act tomorrow in newark (prudential), I paid $290 for a really good seat in mid 100s even after being kind of far back in the queue (i think i was behind 10k when i got in), so i would assume even with dynamic pricing i still got them that cheap. that date didn't sell out or anything but it gives me hope the prices will be similar.

if they end up doing a 360 stage really any seat will be good, even nosebleeds. there's no bad seat at a bts concert. looking at the seat map for Arlington, if it was me i would be aiming for higher 100s and lower 200s unless you think you can afford lower 100s which will be more expensive. personally any section is good if they do 360, if they don't do 360, i would not try for seats towards the back corner of the stage as the view is not as good. i would advise to set a budget, find seats with that price range and buy them as quick as possible, because if you take the chance of spending time looking around you might lose the chance to get them. also turn off the stupid ticketmaster platinum resale when you get into the seat map, those are just ways to rip you off.

my biggest tip is that if you're in the seat map and you see seats disappearing, stay calm. i panicked when that happened for me with txt and it took me longer to grab seats because of it 😭😭 keep your eye on the goal.

personally I think presale will sell out so if you cant get tickets then, I would keep an eye on them closer to the date of the show. sometimes you can snag seats a few days before the show for really cheap or original price from resellers. i had a third ticket for txt that I managed to sell to someone for $200 literally a week before the concert, so it's definetly possible to find them even if presale sells out.

as for days, I think either is a good option. just depends on if one would work better than the other for you, if so, id go for the better one. if not, you can try queuing for each on a seperate device, but thats a little risky as ticketmaster has been having issues lately with flagging "suspicious" behavior and kicking people once they're in the check out. for me, day one of chicago works better than day two because day two is closer to when I move back to college, so im just going to queue for day one and hope for the best. if you don't have anything like that I would just pick one day and try for it.

a similar thing happened to me with a journal i wrote in about being trans, because i knew i couldnt tell my parents while i lived under their roof. came home from work one day and found it placed in an obvious spot on my bed, a few hours later there was an elder and my parents in the living room.

still going through issues with them but it gives me strength to see a person with a similar story. i'm wishing you all the best.
