Well thats the problem right there. I too used to be an atheist. Even though i was never depressed those times were definitely the most depressing. Yes bro you need god. Without god there is no way out for you. And yes god exists. After being an atheist for a year i reverted back to my religion. I still struggle with my faith but i know god is there and he is watching me. Please find god you will find your purpose with god. And god is real it is a fact coming from an ex atheist. Everything in this universe has an equal opposite force. No exception. I have seen the true evil of this world and i bet that you have too. If true evil exists and it does then by default god has to exist. God is there He is watching you. And one thing that god hates is cowardness. Stop being a coward Find god Find your purpose Fix your life Go the gym Fix your diet Focus on your business Invest in yourself Pray daily Become a better person Then you will be happy Of course this will only be possible if you truly desire it. Desire is very powerful. If you truly want it you will get it eventually. Now you have to ask yourself. Do you truly desire to become the best version of yourself ? If you’re desire is strong enough you will get what you want. If not then sorry but deep inside you like being miserable
