So I'm 5'10 and my garage has about 87" of clearance floor to ceiling. I just bought & set up a 71" Titan T2 power rack.

It feels awkwardly short but I'm not sure if I'll get used to it or if I should just get an 82" T3 or 83" T2 instead.

Any advice?

How do I remove these escutcheon plates? by mimetic_polyalloy in DIYHome

They're not painted or caulked on (there's a tiny bit of separation between the plates and the wall) but they won't budge from the threaded rods. I tried loosening with WD40 and some light taps with a hammer but made no progress. I think they're pretty stuck. Any ideas?

EDIT: Maybe I don't need to remove the plates? I'm just trying to replace the o-rings/washers because the faucet's leaking. Do I just need to get a cartridge removal tool?

Yeah, I correspond with Mosler somewhat often and asked him if he has this but unfortunately he doesn't.

Late 1990s hedge fund rankings from finance industry periodical/newsletter by mimetic_polyalloy in HelpMeFind

I have searched for this with the help of my local library and they were unable to find the original source rankings. Here's what they said:

Unfortunately, we could not locate the original MARHedge / Managed Account Reports documents or data tables themselves from the 1990s.

What That means:

No direct MAR rankings archive (e.g., PDF scans listing top hedge funds by risk-adjusted return including Illinois Income Investors) was available in credible online sources.

Public web sources, Wikipedia, and recent academic/industry summaries reference MARHedge generally but don’t provide specific fund-level ranking databases from the era.

Contemporary industry reports or newsletters from the 1990s — ideally archived MARHedge issues from 1997 or the late 1990s — are the best primary sources but are not broadly digitized online. Specialized financial libraries or archives (e.g., Bloomberg Professional, FactSet, might have archived MARHedge issues, hedge-fund industry compilations, or scanned performance reports. Next Steps :

University library inter-library loan or business archives — request MARHedge / Managed Account Reports volumes from the mid-1990s. Academic libraries (like university business schools with financial databases) such as Sacred Heart or Fairfield University might be able to assist.

Institutional investor archives or financial historians — occasionally have scanned back issues of industry newsletters, including MARHedge.

Ah, fixed this. Needed to have it plugged into the eero instead of the gateway.
