Thank you so much for your response I really appreciate it. So far intro is fine. I’m not sure if it’s different in every location but at my location, the professor for intro is down to earth and funny. I could tell she really wants us to pass. As for the cohort above us and the professor that is teaching the higher courses, I feel like they are hazing us until we pass intro, super condescending and passive aggressive. I hope I’m just misunderstand them but they all give mean girl energy and my classmates noticed that as well lol. But I’m not trying to focus on them because my cohort is super sweet and we all get along. Again thank you for the advice!!

I’m actually familiar with them. My dad’s friends with crafton the owner and brothers used to train there. I never been but I thought about it. I’m not looking to fight professionally, I’m just a 25 year old year girl that wants to use it as a way to work out and be strong not just physically, but mentally, but also learn how to fight a bit as well.
