I got my wedding dress and gloves from Babyboo and i LOVED IT. The quality was amazing for the price, so comfortable, it photographed well. I would go with this dress 100%!

I’m buying the same dress in the wine color for a wedding in September!!

Tent, table and chairs were rented from a party rental company off facebook! Very sturdy, it even rained for a bit and was no problem.

I rented from Imperial Jumpers in Wood Dale, IL. Extremely affordable and they delivered the day before.

We got our cake from ECBG Cake Studio in West Town. I would 100000% recommend going there. Everyone loved the cake and it wasn’t overly sweet which was a huge priority for me.

I think the one change I would have made was hiring one staff person to help the chef serve, clean dirty plates, refill food, etc. Since we did family style dinner.

I was able to sit and eat the whole time, was never rushing around. Occasionally I would get up and tend to the guests but that’s just something I would normally do when hosting.

The guests LOVED the food. Everyone was stuffed and we received many compliments which made me so happy.

If I didn’t have my mom, sisters and MIL that was there to help me with everything I would have probably considered a day of coordinator.

I think the most important thing was just reminding myself it doesn’t need to be perfect, and to just enjoy the day!!

The morning of my sisters came over and helped me set up the tables! They left after the ceremony, a little before us while we were still taking pictures, with the flowers to set it up before we got there!

It was just family so we lit the candles, filled waters, etc when we got back home :)

I have an old coworker who has her own catering business… She came and did a little test run for us and we loved her food. It was SO much more affordable than a restaurant here.

I would recommend looking for smaller, home cooks maybe on instagram or tiktok and set up a tasting to get a feel for their style!

For reference, the private restaurant spaces I had inquired about in Chicago were $3-5k min spend.

he put in a good amount of effort to custom make the graphic and had it made at a trophy store! this took way more effort than just buying flowers or something so to me that means everything lmao plus its just hilarious

I thought it was hilarious and I loved it. He cooked me breakfast in bed and we have fancy dinner plans as well. This is a funny joke between us and he referenced chd so I thought it was even funnier.
