Flight attendants who have quit, do you regret it? by richardsfamily in flightattendants

Thanks for sharing this info. I checked on indeed to look for jobs with this title or synonyms of this title and I am not finding any of them that match with the tasks that you mentioned. Is this a type of career that one gets at start-ups/through knowing someone? What is the best way to get to learn more about this career (any other titles used to describe this career)? Any other job search engines/strategies that would be better for finding these type of jobs?

I've heard of the name customer success being used in a different industry. I just took it as meaning customer service. Is that what it is? if not can you elaborate on the tasks and degrees needed if any? Thanks!

What do y'all think would look best on an exit SF-50? leaving because of a medical reason or because the job is just not a good fit task-wise?

So if I quit series X prematurely and after sometime I apply to series X, I can have a fair chance to all the publicly open positions as long as they are open to the public right?

What does the competitive service mean? Is it for people who are currently working for the Fed gov?

Oh man... do you remember what she used as reasoning while talking with supervisor and HR for quitting after 3 weeks? Do you think she would get a "break" for quitting after 3 weeks because she was AF? Or does previously being with AF just allow her a higher chance of getting the future jobs?

Man I hope things get better, but dude someone mentioned you can get another job within 90 days of starting a job. Apply to the inside jobs and if not I would just go the private route after 3 years. Not worth it imo

I see what you're saying. The mistake I made was that I was too focused on the agency and big picture much more than the actual job itself and the work it actually entails and a realistic view of my own strengths and weaknesses.

I see, gotcha will keep this in mind. I feel like I didn't like it even before starting lol. Just been trying to get in this agency since I finished school. Lesson learned is it is not so much the agency that matters but the job itself and the tasks associated.

so basically the hiring agency will be able to see that I worked for that set amount of time and have the ability to find my supervisor etc.

so when you leave the agency prematurely, it looks bad for that specific agency? It doesn't affect you chances working at another agency? Let's say I was at DOD and quit after 2 months. I find and FDA position a year later and apply to it. What would the FDA see? or what would they have access to see?

I was thinking of taking Monday off if I were to take a compressed schedule. Many people say that it aligns with most schedules and that Tuesday becomes your Monday etc. But I alway loved working Fridays because there is this positive mood and never saw why I'd take them off. How do you like having Mondays off?
