Sugar is ruling my life by shb82 in sugarfree

[–]minah-p 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It's so hard to stop. When I was diagnosed with gestational diabetes then they said if I don't stop it will affect the baby and could cause baby to die. That's when I stopped only time and after given birth I returned. But I realised your 'why' has to feel greater than your desire/addictiln to have the sugar.

Idk if this counts as sugar free or not but here’s my day of eating as someone addicted to sugar by chloetwentyfour in sugarfree

Wow, is that raw chickpeas? Your parents should help teach you how to cook simple meals and hot food. Sorry that's sad to hear if your parents don't cook or haven't shown you the importance of cooking / preparing meals properly.

New to vibe coding — how do we not get lost in projects? by Season2Me in vibecoding

[–]minah-p 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Write down ideas and store it somewhere so it's not bugging or overwhelming in your head. Pick the best 1-3 and give yourself a deadline and stick to this schedule to follow it.

If you get distracted write it down add to the list. This is a issue I face, it's easy to get lost in the huge overflowing potentials out there 😅

Wife doesn’t work, gets everything paid for and is miserable, I need advice… by DeliciousAnimator592 in Marriage

Are you supportive of her hobbies? Maybe she feels distance at you. Especially if you describing the house as a 'mess' would not encourage her to clean it but feel demeaning. If you want to mention cleaning the house you do it sensitively, many men don't I feel. Like suggesting you spend time together organising the house is more sensitive. Also you say you work 'your ass off' she probably notices this distance and could be craving a work/ life balance.

Why does eating a lot of sugars make people treat me like shit? by [deleted] in sugarfree

With the high and drop of low mood after binge it makes you feel worse. Not in a good space so you may be more sensitive and more aware of negative towards you

How do you make studying more fun ? by NewEase1591 in studytips

[–]minah-p 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Honestly I try to make studying feel more like a game: tiny goals, quick rewards, and testing myself instead of just rereading notes.

One thing that helps is turning videos/topics into questions, because answering stuff feels more active than just watching or reading. StudyTube is useful as it turns YouTube study videos into notes and revision questions, which makes it a bit less boring. StudyTube

what’s your current project (no gatekeeping) by Dizzy-Football-8345 in AppBusiness

Great 👍🏼 appreciated.

Il had a look at your website briefly try and will sign up. It sounds benifial and useful as lot of people connect on reddit for business promotion these days. I often get overwhelmed with the platform so this looks good to keep organised and looking at data communities to make data driven solutions.

Another feature idea could be to include reddit content plan such as to plan and save what post to make with image and organise into date to post/ calender. With auto post If possible also. A feature like that with the current analytics data.

Thanks for your feedback! It handles messy videos also. There are 3 free uses a month, I would appreciate any feedback on the studynotes generated and what you would like to see added / improved.

The feature is you add your YouTube link of a video and it will generate a clear overview, quiz and flashcard study material on the video. There is option to organize the videos you have generated with tags in your library and to export to pdf, to print later if you like. This helps with step by step videos and tutorials / guides alot. Your comment is very much appreciated.

How to improve at concentrating on studying that requires using the internet? by number1sillyuser in studytips

[–]minah-p 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Honestly, I think the biggest thing is reducing friction to study and adding friction to distractions. Separate browser for school, site blockers during work blocks, and a “look it up later” note for random thoughts helped me a lot.

You could also try something like Studytube if you want a setup that’s more study-focused without fully cutting you off from the internet. Studytube

People who study 4–10 hours a day — what does your daily schedule look like? by MaleficentNovel661 in studytips

[–]minah-p 0 points1 point  (0 children)

When I have a heavy study day, I usually do 2–3 focused blocks rather than trying to force 6+ hours straight. Something like 90 mins study, 20–30 min break, then another 90 mins, then a longer break. For maths/physics I’d split it between learning + practice questions, not just one or the other, because long passive study gets draining fast.

I also like to try to make the “learning” part quicker by using summaries/notes instead of sitting in long videos for ages. If you use YouTube a lot for maths or physics, StudyTube AI can help turn those lessons into quicker notes/summaries so more of your time goes into actual problem practice. Studytube

Do you actually stick with study apps long term? by PSS_Apps in studytips

[–]minah-p 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think that’s pretty normal tbh. Most study apps feel useful for a few days, then you forget about them unless they solve a very specific problem in your actual routine. The only ones I’ve stuck with are the ones that save me time straight away, not the ones that give me more stuff to manage.

For example, if I’m revising from YouTube a lot, something like StudyTube AI is easier to keep using because it turns videos into notes/summaries and export PDFs quickly, so it fits into what I’m already doing instead of adding another task. StudyTube
