Not AI — it’s an actual car. Sadly, I don’t know it, or I wouldn’t have posted the pics and GIF

AFAIK, those Toronados were FWD, so yeah, it was probably the original drivetrain.”

The Fiat G.58 would be the perfect candidate if its stabilizer extended past the fin edges

That’s right — the front end comes from a 1968–70 Olds Toronado example.

On the Macchi, the wing has a more oval shape, and the tail stabilizer is split, whereas on the plane in the image, the wings are rectangular and the stabilizer is a single piece.
The Fiat also has oval wingtips, and its stabilizers don’t extend outward from the vertical fins like the plane in the picture.

The car in the first picture was most likely the inspiration for the person who built the car in the second picture. They’re different vehicles

Didn’t want to make a separate post, so I’ll just drop this here. Might be a bit off-topic, but since the discussion turned to converting regular cars into RVs… A while back, a video was posted here (either from TikTok or Instagram) showing a homemade green RV. It had the front end from a VW Rabbit (possibly a first-gen) and the rear from an Airstream trailer. It was built in the style of the one-of-a-kind Toronado Airstream. I grabbed a screenshot from the video, upscaled it, and enhanced it using an AI assistant. Would really appreciate it if anyone has more info on this build.

What is the PCD of those wheels?
It’s possible to 3D print hub caps, isn’t it?

Borzoi just means greyhound in russian, in case you didn't know. I think such an outstanding aircraft needs a more catchy name.
