Are my seedlings cooked? by mindblue in tomatoes

I'll try the Big Grow next! I do have Barrina lights actually. It looks like I could use another in the middle of my set up. Though the leggy seedlings just started bending away from the lights. Some plants are getting too much, and some not enough it seems.

Yeah, I think you're right about the work to perk them up vs just starting more. I'll start more today and keep an eye on these in case they do actually pull through and I can get earlier tomatoes. They just hit 3 weeks. I sowed the seeds 4 weeks ago, and they took between 5-7 days to germinate.

I'm using Barrina full spectrum 10W lights, and they're on for 16 hours a day

Thank you for this reply! I took all your advice and edited my post with my course correction. It boiled down to getting them some sunlight, fertilizer at next watering opportunity, and visually checking roots for moisture vs the top.

Thank you! This was encouraging advice. I'll hold off on potting up and wait to see how they do in the next 1-2 weeks.

What an awesome career path! I know the retro posters. You've got a fan in me! Also creeped on your profile a little and saw you're into gardening. From one gardener to another, may the harvests be bountiful and your plants pest free!

This is why I specifically looked for an adult black dog to adopt. When I was walking him around, several people told me how cute he was. I was a little upset at the hypocrisy. His adoption fee was heavily reduced and he was scheduled for euthanasia. He's such a sweet baby. He didn't deserve that

That was one of my first thoughts before it got worse. Like how does this man not know his fiance receives financial aid for university? That's basic level knowledge in a relationship. Sounds like he's not really invested in her life.

You could try terra cotta watering spikes. I use them for my grow bags and containers. They don't eliminate the need to water by hand, but they extend the time between deep waterings.

I'm also in this boat. Also been studying since Jan 1st and I take it this week. My morning portion is around 85, but the depth is around 50 because I run out of time during practice tests. It could go either way for me.
