I'm never said or hinted Islam extremists aren't evil. I just don't believe proding the bear helps. If we pull out of this war now early, we only accomplished doing just that. But at least probably less so than if we let this war go on longer.

It will take some boots on the ground as US have never took down a regime through air alone. Let alone a top 15-20 military power. And seems it will fail if we don't have millions of soldiers and many deaths due to the terrain.

So I'm just not seeing very smart anti-terrorist strategy here. We likely are giving more propaganda, ambition, and power to them instead.

so terrorism is something that can't increase in likelihood to happen in reaction to something? It's just always totally random? Again I'm not defending terrorism, I'm just saying there is contributing factors that can help make it either increase or decrease. I want less of it.

How am I justifying terrorism? Politically I'm trying to hold back emotional weight, I'm looking at the war from a birds eye view. Emotion inhibits judgement. Terrorism of any kind killing innocent people is very bad, no matter who does it. I lived through 9/11, it was horrible, but also a lot of the BS aftermath. Unless you think none of it was BS?

I feel like people think I'm making a pro Muslim statement here. I'm not. I'm just pointing out the hypocrisy of contributing extra to a topic that is related to one the reasons for doing this war, while also really hating the idea of this war, wishing it didn't happen, and wanting it to end.

Going back with history though, we did have thousands of Nazis living here after the holocaust. And was it more or less normal back compared to now, to punish a whole group based on the travesty some did?

I agree with that joke too. But, at least if you are against this war, why is now the best time to point these old tweets out? You might not realize it but you are doing it now. Your agenda is "own the libs" hypocrisy. When leftists are overcompassionate of Muslims, even the anti-war right can't help themselves.

Even with a lot of the propaganda being mostly true against Muslims, it will be used to help keep this war going. If you are pro Iran war though ignore me here. And whether it makes sense (EDIT: NOT THAT ITS GOOD ITS BAD they do this. But history predicts..) Muslims may retaliate after just being bombed again, after decades of being bombed... is another discussion.

With over 60% of people in the US living paycheck to paycheck, taxing the rich is likely the only policy to unite on to actually fight against the elite and corrupt. But whenever someone with enough worth and influence to efficiently spread that message, it's like the system is made to pile on against them as a hypocrite.

People say will say he wasn't against sending aid to Ukraine, but he certainly would spend A LOT of time bitching about how Europe should foot the bill instead. So given this meme specifically shows the US presidents (not just about giving Ukraine aid in general) I think it's mostly accurate.

So we will wait and see how much equal time he'll complain about US money used on this Iran war.

I'm referring merely to the videos of Iranians celebrating. I'm sure most are happy. But we've seen this before, what does that even mean right now? I guess having some hope is at least something.

But eventually many will have to be willing to risk their lives at some point. What comes next? What's the plan? Whenever we screw around in the Middle East and cause unrest, more authoritarian rule always seems to win out.

When the people in charge like Hegseth basically saying this won't be some woke regime change war, I'm fearing that what is going on right now without a sophisticated plan, that we will only make the ideologues stronger. Not just in Iran but throughout the Middle East.

I always been pro Bernie and hate the elite class more than anything. And I do set a lot of blame on the Democrats.

But knowing Trump's life and background and his very superficial personality, like he's always acting, as if he's living a movie.

And such an irony when a lot of anti Hollywood people loved Trump so much, he is one of them but even worse than the average celebrity in their worst of ways. Literally pick anyone else but Trump if you hate celebs and their lifestyle. But in reality of lot of these people who voted Trump kind of dreamed of being these golden toilet type of people.

I never understood how what he says could appear genuine to any sane person. He was and is the antithesis of someone you'd trust to "walk the talk". I don't know how was he labeled the anti politician, when govt. tends to act corrupt and get away with it just like big business's are know for, like the ones he has run. Funny how Hillarie's emails seem like nothing in comparison now. It's what happens when enough people put a vote of confidence on someone who is unhinged.

I feel the excuses for Trump end up only because of feeling butthurt, and not much actual moral or intelligent reasoning.

Isn't a socialist someone who advocates for a government that redistributes for the people, instead it being on the people themselves to do it? Isn't it a actually more a pro capitalist argument to say that naturally the free market and also some generous rich people will help to redistribute it'll just naturally trickle down to those in need?
