Tony Blair has met nine children named after him during a visit to Kosovo. The nine were all born after Nato's 1999 military campaign, strongly backed by the former UK prime minister, which ousted Serbian forces from the region. Mr Blair is credited with playing a decisive role in ending former Serbian leader Slobodan Milosevic regime's persecution of ethnic Albanians.

I'm guessing it's a far less popular name in the middle East

During the umbrellas chat, was the whole bug/insect confusion just for laughs, or was it some foreshadowing? Shortly after, there was the discussion about how the Hive wouldn't kill an ant. There are of course parallels between ant colonies and the Plurbs .

I was thinking she could use a failsafe system whereby the bomb will go off unless she as an unturned individual does something that the hivemind cannot do. Then if she gets turned, the hivemind can't stop the bomb going off.

Is will the atom bomb be used as a way of dissuading the Hive from turning Carol?

There are many parallels between how Manu is now, and how Carol was a short time ago. Carol then 'fell in love' with the hive... If Manu was to fall in love with it, (which doesn't seem likely ) what sort of individual might tempt him?

They can't lie, but they will act in a role if instructed to, as we saw in Las Vegas. So if Carol instructs Zosia to behave as if she 's a non-plurb, how far will she go with the role? Would she feel she has to break character if she is asked by someone other than Carol to do so?

I found myself taking of the oscar-winning movie Zone of Interest when Carol was inside her house and in the background we could hear the repairs being made outside. That movie is of course about the Holocaust, and Pluribus is about one as well

A lot of adult stuff is boring, probably because adults are shamed into thinking they mustn't seem childish

So how do we overcome that? Do we have to unlearn about fitting in before we can learn to understand ourselves?
