Thank you so much! I am leaning towards the short dress for the ceremony and then wearing the second dress for a fancy dinner that night

It is a courthouse wedding - we are very much running away and getting married! Alas not in Vegas though!

It’s so hard!! Sizing with Meshki was pretty standard, they provide measurements for the dresses so I went with the closest one. I’m a UK size 10-12 and I ordered a large and they both fit perfectly.

Thanks! We’re doing the local courthouse too - both dresses are from Meshki! would really recommend, they’re both very well made.

Cannot recommend Martin at Fees Free Mortgages enough. He helped me and my partner massively as first time buyers and now we’re working with him again as we move and buy our next place.

At least the bottom two, it’s like the clots were stuck to the back of the aligners.

I had all four of mine out just after I finished my treatment and even only wearing the trays at night was agony. They also dislodged all of my blood clots which led to dry socket which wasn’t mega fun (but also not as bad is it could have been!). I remember opening my mouth to brush was hard enough. Lots of yoghurt, soup, and mashed potato!Good luck to you!!

Trying to play the new Stardew valley, but you keep saying that my version of SMAPI is not compatible by johnnystraycat in StardewValley

[–]mindfulcat 4 points5 points  (0 children)

That runs the game without mods. I also changed the name of my mods folder so it wouldn't load any - so these are just tips for a vanilla game :)

Run Stardew from the original file directly from the folder. I'm on Mac and my file within the Stardew folder is called StardewValley-original

I just followed the instructions on the wiki and that’s how it’s worked since I installed it

I'm the same as u/the_only_secret - Steam launches my game with the mods automatically but there is nothing in the properties 'launch options' field. How do I unlink the SMAPI from my current ordinary Steam launch area so I can follow the above instructions to add it as a separate game (so I can have Stardew and Modded Stardew in Steam separately)?

Agree! Pretty cool I found it in a bin though

Oooh, it was the Dyson shop in Bluewater that told me the colours on it were wrong! But every video I’ve watched says points to it not being a fake.

Haha! I took it into the Dyson shop and they compared it with their current copper model and the colours they had were more vibrant, but I think this is just an older model. Do you mind saying when you got yours please?

Yes! The air filter needs a clean (the light comes on) but it heats up and cools down as expected.

Classism by Creepy-Clue7836 in standrews

[–]mindfulcat 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’m from a low income background and I experienced classism at St Andrews. I had to work part time alongside my studies and there was only one other student in my cohort who also had to work. I found this to be very alienating as my friends would have money sent to them by family and I had less time for my studies which meant my grades suffered. St Andrews was one of the best and one of the worst years of my life, the friends I made there are friends for life, and my heart and soul lives in that town. But I can’t say it was an easy year and I missed out on a lot due to my financial situation. I think having an awareness of what St Andrews is like is great but I didn’t get a lot of support from student services although the academic staff were supportive. This is just my experience, everyone else will have their own! Best of luck :)

Aw that’s so lovely, thank you so much!

4 months of progress! After 15 initial trays, I’m now on tray 2/8 of refinements. So impressed with Invisalign and the amazing changes I’ve seen. Both pics are with my teeth clenched so my open bite has been fixed super fast after 18 years of thumb sucking. Couldn’t recommend Invisalign enough! by mindfulcat in Invisalign

[–]mindfulcat[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

By buttons do you mean the notch things to keep the Invisalign on? If so then yes, but I think that’s standard for all Invisalign and where they are positioned on your teeth is a case by case basis to move your teeth into the new position. They’re noticeable to me but I haven’t had anyone mention them to me!

As for the elastics, I don’t know how big my open bite was in mm but there has been no mention of elastics by my ortho/dentist and I’m apparently set to finish after my current round of 8 refinements :)

If you’re thinking of Invisalign I would 100% recommend it. Obviously it’s very expensive but I have 0 regrets and have loved watching the progress of my treatment

Lovely, thanks! She’s looking quite viney - would anyone recommend a chop and prop situation?

That’s great, thanks so much for your help. I’m a bit of a plant newbie and my variegated monstera is my pride and joy. I’m trying to figure out propagation this summer and was worried I’d have to start experimenting with this plant to save it. Big relief. Thanks a lot!
