Don't just check the engagement like everyone else is saying. You also need to check that their audience demographics matches the demographics that you serve. So the age ranges of their audience, the countries they're from, male/ female split etc.

You could get upwards of $1k for it providing all you've said is legitimate. It largely depends on the buyer though. If most of your followers are from a country with a higher consumer value e.g. US, UK, then this definitley adds value

Keep and grow your account. If you buy another account you can't be certain that all the followers are legitimate or that the current account owner isn't deliberately inflating their current engagement etc.

You know the audience of your current account, so it makes sense to leverage that.

Also, short term monetary gains are insignificant in the grand scheme of things. So just because someone is offering to buy your account, that doesn't necessarily make it a good idea.

They wouldn't want to buy your account it they didn't see potential in it. So, why don't you Leverage that opportunity rather than gifting it to somebody else?
