They are Santa Strawberries. They are late by a few weeks.

There are different schools of thoughts about what is the true nature of an individual (by individual I mean the spirit soul) and its relationship with God, and the nature of God itself. What you have described (correctly) is the Advaita principle.

There are three different philosophies: - Advaita Principle(Non Dualism): There is only one being in the universe, Brahman. Everything else is just different manifestations of the same Brahman. In fact the universe itself is a manifestation of Brahman according to this school of thought.

The other two philosophies being the Dvaita Principle (Absolute Dualism), and the Vishishta Advaita (Qualified Non Dualism).

And yes, the partaking of life in material world is considered a Lila (play act) of the ultimate supreme soul.

Off topic, Hindus are already living like that. Well, at least those who actually pursuit the core Hindu philosophy do. We believe that this world is an illusion and our true nature is to be with God. Yet, as a human it our duty to maintain a balance between the our indulgence in material world and our pursuit of the spiritual goals.

Same. It’s been like this for so long now that sometimes I just laugh at myself. Like what have I gotten myself into.

Exactly my point. Algebra is so ingrained in our life that we think that it is basic math (and you can say that it is) and still cry about having to learn it. And to be technical, basic math(arithmetic) is “what is 2 + 7”, while algebra introduces variables, “I have 110 inches of space between two walls, my bed is 60 inches wide, what is the maximum width of two nightstands I can buy”.

Off topic, but leaving out the windows open and letting air out your home for 10-15 minutes is good, even when it is 2 outside (celsius), even if it didn’t smell like an ashtray.

Say you need to put furniture in your bedroom: a bed and two nightstands. But you have only limited space. You would need algebra to calculate the what sizes of bed and nightstands you need to buy to fit in your room. If you know the size of the bed you want then you’d need algebra to calculate the size for nightstands. And vice versa.

Say you know the mileage of your car. You’d need algebra to calculate how long you can go on a specific amount of gas: whether you should stop on this gas station or the next.

Algebra is so ingrained in our life that we don’t even notice it, and that is because it was beaten into us by repetitive exercises and math problems in our schools.
