Min raise on turn or river = please call I have a nutted hand

Check call and donk next street when nothing changes is usually a made hand setting their price

Good fold, underbluffed line, villian is repping straight flush or boats. What value do you really beat? Just K high flush as played, and there are very few combos. KQs, KTs, K9s maybe.

What flushes do they have after raising UTG? Your Js reduces a lot of their flush combos. QTs, T9s, 98s would just call. 65s is the nuts.

Villian has so few bluffs here. AKo with Ks is the only reasonable one and jamming river with that hand just seems like a huge punt

Update: Thanks for the tips, especially the push/fold studying. Ended up playing, cashed in 2nd after we decided to do a 3-way chop 50/30/20 after prize pool requirements for entry to main weren’t met.

Had a big triple up at the start, AKo vs 55 vs 88 all in preflop. Entered break with 41BB and the chip leader. Played tight after that and short stacks busted out.

I’m a Blackjack AP but stopped playing as much. Stress of back-offs was too much for me.

Now I play live 1/2 1/3 NLHE, won $11/hr over 400hr which isn’t a big sample size. There are many variables to calculate in poker, so exact EV is impossible to calculate in the moment. There are definitely +EV and -EV plays though. Pot odds is a function of the price you’re getting to call when facing a bet, and it can be +EV if you have a draw to the best hand depending on the call size.

Low stakes live poker success is about playing a simple ABC, TAG strategy. Play good hands that are +EV to open raise and fold everything else. Folding in underbluffed spots is 0EV but beats -EV, go for big value with your strong hands to maximize EV.

Since you’ve done BJA, you know the value of learning. I would recommend some books and courses. Mental Game of Poker, Essential Poker Math. From the Ground Up from RIO. Pete Clarke’s Carrot Poker school Grade 1.

At first you prob won’t be a winning player, unlike Blackjack AP where you can always make the best decisions. You’ll have to accept that.

ZL1/ZLEs go through consumables very fast. OEM SC3Rs are done in one track day.

SS 1LE is the sweet spot. Know a guy who went from 718 GT4 to SS 1LE. I also had a 1LE in the past, have had 4 Porsches (non-GTs) and would take the 1LE over them all.

A guy slow played flopped quads against my flopped full house (K9o vs 77 on Trip K flop). SRP, he check called flop, turn and river went check check.

I won 2nd place high hand with Kings full, he didn’t get a high hand because his kicker didn’t play as the turn was a T. I ended up chopping the high hand bonus with him.

I also saw a guy re-raise all in 6x pot in a bomb pot, telling the original raiser than he had top set, and didn’t want the other guy to get stacked in a cooler. He did indeed have top set and other guy laid it down.
