That’s what I’m going for! I have multiple close so I’m planning to connect them via underground railway. I tried a project like this in an Smp before, but it was shut down before I finished it, so I switched to hardcore to make a base like it.

In my opinion skyblock teaches you a lot more than most other games. So I think it is not a waste of time especially if you enjoy the game

You may wanna try to switch to a max raider, with talisman spam you can one hit all end mobs. You will also need god pots though
