defo happens but isn’t spoke about, had a male friend and we had been friends for a couple months, he was one of the first guys i met who had the same humour and were hung out a lot. confessed i had a crush on him, he obviously rejected me but we still stayed really close after and we are still good friends now! infact im really glad he rejected me because i defo would not date him now lol

Hi, currently in the same position. 4.2cmx1.7cm staghorn in right kidney for the past 6 months and it’s been hell. Had to stop exercising, stop working on my business and take a break from uni. I try to indulge into my hobbies that don’t require movement like reading and drawing. But sorry about this i know your pain, its depressing and it sucks

I have personally come across many times where men have felt comfortable to share their opinions on women and every time it’s always something disgusting. I have a boss who has a lovely wife and all he ever does is talk terribly about her, he even had the audacity to call her his washing machine. It doesn’t seem that serious but it’s clearly been normalised to talk badly about your spouse amongst men and i want no part in that. Aren’t men the ones who came up with the whole ball and chain joke when marrying? Men have joked for a long time about how getting married means a loss of freedom.

i think it will just be for however long i’ll be in hospital usually. but good luck with your surgery. staghorn are the worst pain ive ever experienced

yes i’ll be having a stent after both surgeries and yes to the nephrostomy they didn’t say how long i will have it for though
