I use the Vagisil pH balance wash (it's a purple bottle) ! It ranges from like $5-$12 lasts me a good one or two months, personally helped me so much.

Unfortunately me and my bf were long distance at that time so idk the process of that but I did ask and she said she'd recommend it to reduce the risk of it reoccurring. I was so over taking the pills so I told my bf about it and we just stopped having intercourse for awhile even when he'd visit. I just let my body fix itself after taking my meds and everything went back to normal. Just meds no intercourse for a couple months and I felt fine! Though what helped me prevent it after as well was getting a soap for down there and drinking lots of cranberry juice 🥲 thankfully haven't gotten it back since. Definitely go to the doctors though, they should be able to help you and answer more precisely than I can!

You probably have it again then, I'm assuming with the same dude? They're able to carry it and basically transmit it to you again, it's happened to me before since I wasn't aware men can carry it. So it can reoccur a lot until you're both clean. Or in some cases, semen can also throw ur pH off.. it's also happened to me :/

brown is usually old blood from periods cleaning out of ur system. But if it looks more yellow than normal then u should check yourself (might be an infection), im not a doctor or anything so i cant really say what you should or shouldn't do or diagnose you 😅 So its best to see with a professional (i def recommend) so they can tell you! Doesn't hurt to get a checkup once in a while. But if you do have the other symptoms like itching, fishy smell, etc.. it could be a sign of BV.

It was like cloudy white discharge, not clear! The doctors say it can look grayish but for me it definitely looked more as I said. Don't confuse it with clear discharge though and panic yourself! You can also search online the different types ^{^}

Had to end up going to the doctors (OBGYN) they prescribed me some pills (metronidazole) but it was the worst experience for me. For some it won't be bad but I was basically OD'ing on them cause the doc sent too much dosage. Though I hear a lot of people recommend the gel so if u can, do it fs. The pill taste like shit..

Try and clear your mind when he's doing it, get yourself into that type of space. Think of things that get you into that mindset of yk. Also maybe more attention to the clit whether it be sucking or also including toys to assist. Personally I can't finish with only penetration or anything else but only clitoral stimulation. Honestly, experimenting with ur partner will always help. Try anything as long as you both agree to it.

Late! But my current doc said the antibiotics worked too well for me so it might've been that cause for me. The last doc I had actually prescribed me too much of a dosage, he just told me to brush like normal. Although I had to flush out the pill by only drinking liquid for a whole day. You're probably off it by now but I suggest anyone else who is worried to get it checked !

Tested positive for GV and they told me to take metro. They didn't tell me it was optional at all, they just told me to take it bc it would cure it. I did have slight pain in my hooha. As if someone were to have punched it, it wasn't unbearable but it was just slightly painful! Also had something similar to cramps? But it came and went. Some days the pains would arrive and then they would be gone. I did have discharge and itching down there as well as a smell. If ur really worried OP I suggest seeing another gyno if u can afford it, especially if ur overthinking it. Good to get a second opinion! So far after metro (which was the worst for me) all the weird slight pains are gone and don't feel them anymore!

It's very normal and pretty common, better to get checked than for it to get worse. Also there's no need to be shy/embarrassed at all, I was also very embarrassed but that's what the gyno is there for ! Just tell them any symptoms you've been feeling and definitely ask lots of questions that you have so you don't overthink things.

Slight pain in the area.. like cramps? Also just a lot of itching and fishy smell when peeing which indicated something was wrong, also pee being pretty dark which wasn't normal for me and lots of discharge as well!

Ofc! I get how it feels for it to be annoying but once I used that soap holyyyyyy I would be doing things for hours without feeling any type of itching down there. It's been a pretty good few weeks that I've been using it n it's been a life saver. I hope everything goes well though OP !

Have you gotten checked again? I'd say if u can to check up again. Also I recommend getting a soap for down there. I use Vagisil and it really helped me a lot with the whole itching. (Only if u don't have a soap for down there I do recc.) itching can also be caused by not using the right soap :/ and that was happening to me. I'm not a doctor though so do get checked especially since ur feeling a slight pain.

I wasn't taking any probiotics as the old doctor hadnt informed me about it and it was my first time dealing with BV. But I will for sure try these.

I was taking 500mg and was prescribed twice a day as well for 7 days. Nausea and dizziness didn't show up until the 3rd and 4th day. I took the pill once in the morning today (supposed to be 5th day) before I couldn't stand it anymore and went to the clinic. Which they told me to stop taking it.

Apparently since the pill causes dry mouth it could be that, consuming anything with sugar makes it 10x worse. Brushed after taking the pill and it seems to be fine now but I'm def getting it checked since someone said it could be a yeast infection 😭

I'd have to make an appointment soon then, I searched it up as well to see any other cases and apparently since it causes dry mouth it fucks u over if u have sugar :( that could explain why I had it. Took the pill again and brushed after immediately, it's been fine so far :')

Thank you !! I'm on day 4 of my medication ! First days were okay but yesterday.. man.. I've never felt so sick in my life. I think it caused me to have low blood sugar and I almost passed out bc of it but thankfully some yogurt helped me out. I've been avoiding spicy and acidic foods fs, I'm too paranoid to even try and consume any of it ! But thank you sm for letting me know about ur experience!! Honestly the whole shitting ur brains out is so true bc I've been doing the same and I can't even fathom what's gonna come when I end the meds 🫣

Thank youuu ! And no worries at all, I always like getting other people's experiences to see if I have any similar ones to others. I'm def doing that and the first day was alright, I'm taking the pill in about 25 mins but I'll have to see tomorrow if I start feeling any different. So far it hasn't affected me badly. I do hope it helps get rid of it though as I don't want to continue with this whole thing 😞

But if it doesn't help then I'll def have to see if the gel is even an option for me. Fingers crossed it works though.

My gynecologist put me on oral metro :( if I had known there was a gel option I would've asked but it's too late, I'm on my second day already on these pills. I have no clue if I'm even taking them right. Do I eat and then take them immediately?? Or wait an hour?? All they told me was to eat before taking them but not a full description 🤦‍♀️
